 John W. Blehm and his wife, Kathy, live in Birch Run, Michigan. They
married in 1973, a year after graduating from high school. They have three children, Sherrie, John II
and David, plus five grandchildren.
John
is a lifetime member of the Ameraucana Breeders Club (ABC) and originally joined
the club in 1982. He was the recipient
of the 2001 ABC Life Time Achievement Award and has held many club offices,
including President, Secretary/Treasurer and District Director.
John’s
main hobby with poultry is as a breeder of chickens, but he also enjoys
operating ChickHatchery.com and attending a couple poultry shows each year.
